Sailing
Sailing is not a sport that’s instantly accessible to every kid growing up in the U.S. However, it’s a sport that deserves more attention, and wants to open its doors and boost participation nationally. As a sport, it requires a balance of skills, including the ability to fine-tune one's vessel while getting the most out of the conditions on the water. Regattas take place across the country every weekend, from kids in Dinghies battling it out for line honors right up to professional events such as the America’s Cup World Series. This blog will take a closer look at some of the high profile amateur and professional events taking place throughout the world of sailing. Cameron's interest in sailing stems from his Australian roots, where he grew up sailing as a kid.

Running
There is no sport more pure than running. Recreationally, the U.S. has huge participation numbers, with approximately 60 million Americans running or jogging annually. The country also hosts some enormous competitive events that involve numbers north of 40-50,000 runners. Most people would probably guess that the New York or Boston Marathons have the most participants, and they wouldn’t be far off. New York had 49,365 runners in 2015, but the AJC Peachtree Road Race had 54,752. This just demonstrates the wide appeal that running has for Americans. It has social, physical and mental appeal, and this all combines to create some fascinating events.
